Who are you?

I'm Nathan Bell, here at Richard Bell Photography (it is a second generation studio). I'm the senior photographer here, and Valerie Schooling is also a lead wedding photographer. We specialize in weddings & portraits.

Are you available for my wedding?

What are your albums like?

You can see many of our recent albums here. Those designs get bound into a flushmount, collage-style book. We use a high end publishing company in Italy called Graphistudio for our final publications.

Who decides what pictures go in the album?

The first thing you will see from your wedding day is a predesigned album. We will go through and pick our favorites and present your day as a story, rather than a bucket of pictures. We then collaborate together to finalize your album and make the changes you desire.

How do your packages work?

You book us for however many hours your day requires, and then you have an album product credit that you may use towards the final book(s) that you decide to purchase. The album credit lets our packages stay very flexible so that you can use it to get products after you've seen your proofs.

What about Engagement and Bridal Portraits?

Engagement sessions and bridal portrait sessions are complimentary with all wedding packages. Those sessions are fantastic times for us to get to know each other, so we aren't strangers on the wedding day. We love going downtown, to the beach, or to the plantations for these sessions.

How would you describe your style?

My best answer to that is to direct you to our recent weddings page where you can see real weddings that we are doing. We shoot a mixture of photojournalistic and creative portraiture in order to create a story picture book of your wedding day that captures the people, the events, and the emotions.
